ANTI-SHARK FINNING POLICY
Foodtech JSC does not endorse the practice of shark finning. As defined, shark finning is the retention of fins and discard of the remaining carcass at sea, is a despicable form of practice. Hence, our company condemns it. In our policy, we restrict finning, in any fishing gear types and we require sharks, if retained, be landed with fins naturally attached. Thus, we will only source our raw materials from vessel-owning companies that have an acceptable published prohibiting shark finning policy on board it's vessels. We will not source our raw materials from any vessels that has been found by RFMO or national Authority to have practiced shark finning. We shall not source for a period of 2 succeeding years following the date of the most recent violation.
Our quality management & standard have also been globally certified in strict compliance with US FDA, HACCP, IFS, BRC, HALAL, OU, and Amfori BSCI.
