We, Foodtech JSC, an Associate Member, is committed to reduce the purchases of yellowfin from Indian Ocean origins from year 2019 up to the present.

Yellowfin Indian Ocean:

Year 2019 – 0%

Year 2020 – 2.1%

Year 2021 – 0%

Year 2022 – 0%

Year 2023 – 0%

Year 2024 – 0%

Year 2025 - 0%

However, MSC yellowfin from the Maldives has now been considered a sustainable choice, particularly handline and pole and line. With this, Foodtech JSC might consider to procure in 2026.
